Okay, so my first day of Japanese camp at Concordia Language Villages' Mori No Ike is on Monday. I've gone there every year for like . . . well, this is my fourth year. It's always tons of fun, 'cept this year, my friends are all off in foreign countries and I'm left to go to camp alone. . . yeah. One friend actually went to JAPAN, another to FRANCE. I'm very worried about being at camp alone. I'm incredibly shy, which makes it hard to meet new people, especially if I don't know ANYONE. The other big problem is that I'm missing my last two soccer games (one is on Monday, the first day of camp, then on the following Wednesday. What luck.) Worse yet, we might have an opportunity to go to district, and, you guessed it, I'll be at camp. My team plays most of its games down, because we've mysteriously lost a number of players, so with me gone too, it's making things rough. And to throw another stick into this flaming flagration of frustration, my art opening, which is on July 1st at the Soap Factory (put together by the WACTAC group, from the Walker Art Center) is also while I'm gone. Poo.
What should I do? I have no clue.
That rhymes.
