Just a quick little painting of my cat, Milo. ^^ He was sleeping on the radiator, on my dad's quilt, and I've never painted a cat before so I thought I should try. It was a good opportunity; he doesn't normally sit still. I'd like to work on it more . . . fix things. . . and stuff. Err, acrylics on bristol paper. I hope it looks alright.

I think it could use more of a background/colour - even if it's not really what you saw. Other than that it looks great. :)

*nods* I totally agree about the background. That's the main thing I want to go back and work on, once I come up with something that might fit nicely. I'm really glad you commented on that, too, because it gives me extra initiative to get thinking. . . er, painting. Thank you tons!!!! ^_^

You definitely have the colours, weight, space (negative/positive) down. The image itself is very cute. The style reminds me of French or Spanish folk art - which is awesome.
